Course: Introduction to United States Constitutional Law

The course will outline the textual and historical development of the United States Constitution. It will introduce theories and practices of constitutional interpretation, primarily focusing on Judicial Review. The student will learn to perceive and analyze constitutional issues relating to the Separation of Powers, and Individual Rights, amongst other topics. Landmark cases of constitutional law will be discussed, including a review of recent controversial decisions rendered by the Supreme Court of the United States
