1 Department of Political Science
1.1 Minor in Political Science
The minor program in Political Science consists of 18 hours/week, as follows:
(a) Mandatory courses - second year (first year in Political Science) - 9 hours/week:
- History, Politics, and Culture in the Modern Era
- Introduction to Government and Politics
- History of Political Thought
- Fundamentals of Government in Israel
(b) Mandatory courses - third year (second year in Political Science) - 7 hours/week:
- Introduction to International Relations
- Israeli Politics
- Introduction to Public Administration and Public Policy
(c) Elective courses - fourth year (third year in Political Science) - 2 hours/week:
- Seminar

1.2 M.A. in Political Science
The M.A. program, without a thesis requirement, at the Political Science Department contains four tracks:
(a) The standard program
(b) Three tracks in a structured program taught over two academic years: public administration, internal audit, and financial management.
2 Department of Economics
2.1 Minor in Economics
The minor program in Economics consists of 17 hours/week, as follows:
(a) Second year (first year in Economics):
- 3+1 credits: Introduction to Microeconomics
- 3+1 credits: Introduction to Macroeconomics
- 3+1 credits: Mathematics for Economists 1
- 3+1 credits: Mathematics for Economists 2
- 3+1 credits: Introduction to Statistics 1
- 3+1 credits: Introduction to Statistics 1 + Econometrics
(b) Third year (second year in Economics):
- 2+1 credits: Macroeconomics 1
- 2+1 credits: Price Theory 1
- 2+1 credits: Price Theory 2
(c) Fourth year (third year in Economics):
- 1.5 credits: Israeli Economy

3 Department of Sociology
3.1 Minor in Sociology
The minor in Sociology consists of 16 hours/week, as follows:
(a) Second year (first year in Sociology):
- 2+1 hours/week: Introduction to Sociology
- 2+1 hours/week: Introduction to Anthropology
- 2+1 hours/week: Topics in Cultural Research
- 1 hour/week: Introduction to Statistics
(b) Third year (second year in Sociology):
- 2 hours/week: Social Psychology
- 2 hours/week: Research Methods
(c) Fourth year (third year in Sociology):
- 2 hours/week: Seminar
- 3 hours/week: Elective courses
3.2 M.A. in Sociology
(a) M.A. in Sociology in the intensive track, without a thesis.
The M.A. program in Sociology without a thesis consists of 24 hours/week over a period of two years, concentrated in two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) + 3 hours/week of complementary studies. Students in their third year of study in the minor in Sociology program will be able to decide whether to proceed to an M.A. degree and attend 3 hours/week of elective courses, which will also serve as complementary courses. These are:
- 2+1 hours/week: Israeli Society
- 2 hours/week: Sociological Theories 1
- 2 hours/week: Sociological Theories 2
(b) The M.A. program in Sociology with a thesis consists of 18 hours/week.
